I’m a professional artist and my place of work is in my heart. I also have a passion for people especially in areas concerning health, beauty and wellness.
My entire family’s history is rich in education, arts, engineering and music. Being an artist is like breathing for me. My journey began on a midwest farm gardening, nurturing farm animals, and helping and observing my parents perfect their own crafted skills and designs.
Today, my profession reflects this artistic side paired with the multiple layers of education I chose over the years—always focusing on restoration and correction in some manner, whether it was through kinesiology, massage therapy, dental hygiene or nutrition.
Deeper learning is always a driving force for me, yet my greatest passion is found in creative expression and healing arts. As a dental hygienist, my exacting surgical hand skills were perfected by repeatedly working in the dark hidden places of delicate and sensitive tissue while administering dental anesthesia—years of this practice made the transition into cosmetic tattooing especially a more comfortable one.
My dental profession brought satisfaction for many years but my creative heart needed more and it was time to unleash it—time for the artistic eye and skilled hands to merge!
As with everything, then and now, I researched and chose the top renowned respected leaders in the beauty world and became a Licensed Esthetician, Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professional, Certified in Advanced 3D Areola Nipple and Scar Camouflage Medical Tattooing, SofTap Instructor, PhiBrow Microblading Artist, Xtreme lash stylist and certification in derma needling.
I am profoundly grateful to be able to do what I love! I appreciate my private time with each person. I love getting to know and understand each of their unique qualities and discover new beauty throughout my day.
Sensibility and art were inherently given and practicing the acts of art and love is my sustenance. As I work to restore what was intended and renew what once was, I become overjoyed, especially when smiles and exaltation meet mine at the end and continue on for them to shine.
Andrea Atelier is a fruit of my first business, Lustre Lash & Skin which was born in LA South Bay—the epicenter for cosmetic arts. My studio Andrea Atelier is a beautiful extension of Lustre, and I revel in spreading the light and love of beauty.
I look forward to seeing you soon!
